We also specialize in serving individuals with complex health conditions. We are dedicated to providing our clients safe and respectful support, and to assisting them, as they develop full lives and meaningful relationships of their choosing in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties.
My Home Support's management team has extensive experience working with individuals with challenging health, psychiatric, and behavioral issues in the community. Our main goal has always been to provide an opportunity for ALL individuals to live in environments where they can follow their dreams and aspirations, while receiving the support they need to live successful, safe, and productive lives. We had never shied away from a challenge, and in fact we had given a second chance to many individuals who would have otherwise remained stuck in hospitals or psychiatric facilities.

At My Home Support, we believe that every individual has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. Our approach is person-centered, and focuses on helping our clients cultivate self-awareness, identify their values and goals, and create actionable steps towards achieving them. We are committed to providing a safe, friendly, and non-judgmental environment for our clients to explore their true potential and work towards their desired outcomes.
We strongly believe that ongoing, high-quality staff training is crucial to the development of our employees' skills set and knowledge, and to the long-term success of our clients’ programs. These trainings include courses designed to increase the direct support staff basic knowledge of, and give them the necessary skills to perform, behavior analysis and modification techniques applied to persons with intellectual disabilities. Our staff are taught to recognize the differences between operant behavior, upon which positive behaviorally supportive procedures “work”, and aspects of the consumer's disability, or psychiatric disorders, that must be accommodated through provision of care as well as through medical and psychotropic medications as prescribed by their health professionals.
In regards to individuals with complex health issues, My Home Support utilizes the services of a Registered Nurse.
The Nursing Consultant, in coordination with My Home's management, constructs a comprehensive health plan to address the client’s health needs. In addition, the Nursing Consultant trains the Support Staff on all complex health care programs rendered by them, including medication delivery, bowel programs, nutrition, etc.

Our services include assisting our consumers with: Housing search and procurement, Home Maintenance and Safety, Staffing and Staffing Development, Consumer Safety and Supervision, Community Safety, Meal Planning and Preparation, Personal Care and Hygiene, Household Duties, Employment, Education and Day Activities, Recreation and Leisure, Coordination of Health Care services, Medication Management, Assistance and Documentation, Behavioral health services, Self-Advocacy, Money Management and Finances, Transportation, Use of Generic Resources, etc.
